2016 EQUALITY FELLOWSHIP
Each year, the LGBT Bar Association of the District of Columbia awards Equality Fellowships to support law students working at DC-area LGBT legal non-profit organizations this summer. The Equality Fellowships hope to encourage law students taking their first steps toward careers tackling our nation’s most complex LGBT legal issues.
The Equality Fellowships pays up to $1,000 to law students selected to be LGBT Bar Association of the District of Columbia Equality Fellows.
Congratulations to the recipients of our 2016 Equally Fellowships, Nathan Bruemmer and Elizabeth Pinolini! Nathan is a rising 3L at Stetson University, and will be working this summer at the National Center for Transgender Equality. Elizabeth is a rising 2L at American University’s Washington College of Law, and will be working at Whitman-Walker Health.
The LGBT Bar of DC is proud to help make the important work these future lawyers are doing this summer possible!
Information about our 2017 Fellowships will be available in Winter 2017.
